Great Find: Quincambosse in Paris

If you are planning a trip to Paris sometime soon, my number 1 favorite restaurant was Quincambosse which is located near the Pompidou. This restaurant is one of Paris’s hidden secrets. We found it in 2005 thanks to our friend Eric who took us there on our first night in Paris. He asked what kind of food we wanted and since I was a big fan of such dishes as Cassoulette and Ratatouile, I said French Country. This restaurant is a real experience and a meal you will fall in love with. I wrote about it in our Paris trip blog. I’ve recommended this to a few friends and a few of them dared to step down into this small basement level restaurant. Going to the bathroom is truely like taking an adventure under the streets of Paris. I still dream about that restaurant and the amazing flavors of the country stew I ordered. Of coarse Clem had the duck! of Coarse! Certainly a great find for me.
