Dash & Lily has become one of my favorite shows. Some of the twists are a little predictable, but the storyline is still very fulfilling. The show gives a lot of good lessons, like finding your inner mochi. Another lesson I liked is that you can look for a rainbow in the rain, but sometimes, there is no rainbow, so you just scream to the rain. I love Boomer’s slight awkwardness when he’s trying to not admit that he met Lily. I also love how they combine romance and mystery to make a very fun and gripping watch.

One more thing I like is how different Lily and Dash are. They have very conflicting personalities, but they are still falling in love. It was interesting bringing people from their past into the story, with Sofia and Edgar. I liked how they tricked the audience into thinking Dash and Sofia were together for the entire night in episode eight, but then as they rewinded, the scene showed they just slept in the museum. I believe the grandfather is controlling because he’s trying to command the life of his 17-year-old granddaughter, and in the second to last episode, he basically says “Say it was all that boy’s fault and you can stay in New York.”

Dash has caused Lily to become braver, trying new things, going to parties, and standing up to her family. Lily has taught Dash to be more open, believing more and letting his guard down. I am very happy with how the series turned out, and I believe I will be rewatching this for years to come.
