HKfamily5 Wishing You a Happy Thanksgiving 2019
While we dine on birds and give thanks at our tables tonight. HKfamily5 wants to say thank you to all we love and who crossed our paths this year. This was a year of milestones and great journeys, and we are thankful for them all.
Clem turned 50.
Brian discovered more free time but spent it on volunteering.
Paley entered into Middle School.
Lochlan finished speech therapy.
Margot can out-swim both her brother and older sister.

Thankful for our awesome trip to Japan & Thailand.
Thankful for our new puppy, which is only a spaz for the first 10 minutes.
Thankful for our home being the best option for the future and excited to it take on a new life in the new year.
Thankful for all the family hikes we took this year.
Thankful for three kids who’s imaginations run wild, and there is no need to control it.
Thankful for family and friends who put up with our crazy family.
Thankful for finding the greatest ramen restaurant in Japan and the kids discovering Tsukemen.
Thankful for people who care and give their careers to make sure democracy does not die in a wave of contempt for basic civility and compassion. Yes, I went there!
Thankful for the Hong Kong riots waiting one more day before entering gates at Chek Lap Kok Airport and hope they find success for their sacrifices soon.
Thankful for all the beach sunsets this year.
Thankful for all friends and parents who helped me this year in volunteering for events, I can’t say no to running. And those who are my copilot, yes you Kelli.
Thankful for the husband who lets me be me and puts up with my ideas
Grateful for Paley’s passionate love for reading, which keeps me on the hunt for books.
Thankful for Lochlan’s love for sports while the battle to make sure he steers clear of football gets harder.
Thankful for Margot’s ability to be fearless and for her laughing scream which materialized in Nagoya, Japan
